Excellent dentistry requires excellent people

Every person in Rodericks is essential to your care, so we endeavour to recruit, train and retain the best people. Everyone who joins us understands our expectations and receives a full induction – to ensure we all share the same ethos of putting our patients at the heart of everything we do.

Through teaching, mentoring and regular reviews, we encourage our staff to aim high. And we guide and support those who wish to study further to allow everyone to reach their full potential. This method has proven highly successful leading to many internal promotions; we are always on the lookout for tomorrow’s leaders.

By providing a caring environment where professional needs are nurtured in a supportive way, we engender loyalty. As the saying goes – we don’t expect loyalty, we earn it.

All teams rely on good communication and our company is structured to ensure communication flows easily. From our central support teams through to our practice teams, we value good communication.

Alpesh qualified in 1999 from Kings College, London and then began his vocational training in 1999, with the Weston Favell Group of practices under the supervision of the prestigious Oxford Deanery for which Shalin was VT advisor. In common with all Rodericks directors of clinical background, Alpesh is closely involved with continuing education and in 2008 became a foundation dentist trainer and obtained his Certificate in Medical Education from Sheffield Hallam University. The support of junior dentists is fundamental to the continuing provision of excellent services within the UK and Alpesh has twice been a speaker at the Young Dentist Conference, as well as having many articles for the dental press.

Alpesh’s key operational responsibility within Rodericks is the recruitment of new dentists, hygienists and therapists, taking the recruitment journey through its entirety. Following this, he remains on-hand to provide appropriate support, advice and guidance.

Through his continuing role as a practising dentist and with the knowledge of the NHS dental community this brings, Alpesh is well placed to identify areas of need across the country.
