Jenny Lai - BDS, MClinDent, MFDS MRD RCS (Eng)

Jenny qualified from Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1998 and spent 3 years in NHS general dental practice. In 2001, she undertook broad-based hospital training in each of the dental specialties at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester during which time she gained her Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgeons. She consolidated this training with further hospital experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery and orthodontics. After a year travelling around the world and working in Australia's tropics, she returned to the UK where she worked in the community dental services providing access to patients for urgent dental care as well as those with special needs. This was complemented with more technically challenging work as she took up a position in Restorative Dentistry at St George's Hospital.

Despite the broad experience, Jenny has always enjoyed provision of endodontic therapy and completed specialist training in Endodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute. She currently serves the patients of more than 30 referring dental practitioners in her position as Senior Endodontist in the community services. Her past broad experience provides an open and honest approach in the management of a compromised tooth for all patients.

Behzad Manzoor - BDS MFDS(RCPSG), MSc (Implant dentistry)

Behzad Manzoor obtained his MSc in Implant Dentistry from Guy's Hospital with distinction, one of the highest qualifications in Implant dentistry available in the UK.

When not working for the Rodericks group of dental practices Behzad has a clinical research associate post at Guy's hospital in London working in close collaboration with leading implant companies to help develop implant products. He is trained in advance bone grafting procedures for complex implant cases. He uses his knowledge of cosmetic dentistry to provide implants which not only provide function but also a fantastic final aesthetic result.

Outside dentistry Behzad is a keen participator and spectator of sport, particularly football. He likes spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys reading and has a keen interest in photography.

Rupal Patel - BDS (Hons) MFDS RCS (Eng)

Rupal qualified from Guy's Hospital in 2004 passing with honors. She spent a year working as a Maxillofacial Senior House Officer at Chase Farm Hospital. During this year she completed the MFDS Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons.

Rupal then spent several years working in general practice and this is where she developed her interest in Periodontology. In 2008 she started a Masters in Clinical Dentistry (Periodontology) back at Guy's Hospital. Rupal's interest lie in the non-surgical and surgical management of periodontitis and in implant dentistry.

Rupal is also heavily involved in teaching. She has previously taught undergraduates at University and is a foundation dentist trainer in general practice. She also lectures on Periodontology to other dentists for the Oxford Deanery and has published work in the Journal of Periodontology.
